A Gift for Marielisa

My friend Huanxing recently showed me a few of his creative projects using generative agents and memory, and I decided to give it a try.

I built Ansantuario, a simple Post-it style app that I share with Marielisa. We can both add notes to an “infinite wall,” and whatever one of us posts appears on the other person's computer in real time.

Each day, there is an optional prompt, usually a question like “Si pudieras definir este día en una palabra, ¿cuál sería?” (“If you could define this day in one word, what would it be?”). Notes can be text or voice messages. The app also has a memory system that can search past notes by exact phrases, keywords, or higher-level meaning. As we add more notes, the agent learns from the wall and suggests new prompts based on recurring themes and content.
